Sheer disgust and embarrassment
Good evening.
This evening I had a nasty experience at kfc Tongaat. I was in the queue waiting to pick up my meal and a black man just walked in front of me and asked for his order to which I said we are in a queue. The lady behind the counter took his receipt and said to me his number is one before mine. That would have been fine if that was the procedure this outlet followed but it’s not. I’ve been to kfc several times in the last few weeks and never have they checked the number on the slip as it’s always first come first serve. Often when more than 1 person comes in.. On holds a place in the pick up queue while the other is purchasing so numbers are never used. When I told the lady, ‘Sthembile ‘ who was behind the counter she said sorry his number before yours! At that, the black man went off on a tangent screaming racial slurs and hurling all sorts of insults.. In the presence of a crowded store.. No one assisted in diffusing the situation. I’m truly disappointed not to mention quite horrified and will no longer be supporting this outlet.
For the sake of other patrons kindly train your staff as how the pick up procedure works as one one should have an embarrassing experience like I did!

This is umhlanga village Kfc on Saterday at around 4pm.
We wanted to use the facilities to have a meal.
First of ordering a meal is like the stuff is doing you a favour and they make you feel like somebody is forcing them to do the job they have applied for and training for.
KFC south africa store service deliveries is really bad.
And there seems to be no way back for this company.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed today at Hammarsdale junction kfc I wanted to buy and the lady behind the counter told me that they don’t have change and it was 11:30 in the morning I totally didn’t understand the way you do things,I thought all shops have cash float everyday in the morning but instead kfc workers just turned away customers it was not only me other two customers.I’m so disappointed at kfc and their staff and I will never buy their food.
The health inspectors should monitor health and hygiene of food outlets and restaurants. This particular KFC toilets are 9/10 times disgusting

Once again I found myself in the Durban CBD, at the same KFC (349 Dr Prixley KaSeme Street, located between the old Field sand Gardener Street) where health and hygiene seems a last thought. Months ago, I was appalled when sanitary pads were overflowing out of a she bin and exposed. I requested a supervisor and asked her if she even bothers checking and ensuring that health and hygiene standards set are met continuously.
This morning at 9:30, there were very few heads having breakfast, therefore it was shocking to find the one ladies’ toilet was again in a state of shock.
1. No soap to wash hands, broken soap dispenser and no alternative
2. No working drier or hand towel
3. Exposed sanitary waste
4. Broken she bin on the side and no lead
Even if the KFC is in CBD, the customers there are no less of humans than anywhere else. This would never happen in affluent areas and shopping malls, why do it in the CBD?

Useless and rude
Disgusting service at Westville KFC , was treated like I was being done a favor being allowed to shop at KFC. We arrived at 10.27 and were told breakfast menu was stopped and their clock said it was 10.31. I was then told there was nothing they could do and was ignored until I eventually drove away. Not the first occasion of pathetic service at this store. Orders often wrong and if you dare to challenge the staff they become abusive . I will never shop there again and will make sure I spread the word .
Good evening I am currently at KFC Athlone opposite athlone stadium just purchased for R187 meal for the family. The only complaint I have about this place is that every time when I come here there’s always a waiting time for the chicken it is worse today its 25 minutes which is obviously not gonna be that because even if they say it’s 15 minutes it will be more than that.
I have decided that I will not go to KFC again I will look for other places that will offer me a good service other than KFC.They have just lost one customer that purchases more than R199 every week.
I don’t know if they don’t prepare their chicken on time or they don’t want to sell it but it’s so ridiculous to make customers wait this long this time of the day and and doesn’t only happen only at night even during the day its the same.
NO TOILET
i bought 10 piece wigs on kfc springs near the rank after eating i asked for a toilet , They lady i cant remember her name but i know her face , she rudely told me the toilet was blocked . a week before my friend told me that they had told her the same thing a week before , how can fast food place not provide a toilet for the consumers , THEY MUST WORKER ON THEIR SERVICE ALSO THEY ARE SO BAD
Lambton Germiston No Icecream for 3 months
Kfc Lambton Germiston is useless they haven’t had ice cream for 3 months straight!!! Can’t stand going there anymore!!!! It just works on my nerves if they don’t get icecream soon I will drive my car through the store!!!!
Good day on Saturday night I went to KFC in mabopane next to walter garage, my kids wanted to use the toilet while I was in a queue, I asked the teller why the toilets were locked and she lied to me and said the was no water and told me to use garage toilets.
Firstly y must I be told lies that there is no water and be directed to the garage that is not owned by KFC, and if this was done for security purposes, why is KFC in morula view not locking their toilets at night, and y should they allow sit in at night if their toilets are not working. this is disgusting and annoying , we cannot be treated like this, is risky for you when we want to use the toilet, but is not risky when we buy, u rather not open at night to avoid the risk which lead to toilets not to be opened.
i had a very disturbing expirience at KFC Kollonade on Saturday .
i had a terrible experience of Saturday night at Kollonnade , we waited for 30 minutes with no service and no communication to us, until my son go out and ask what is the problem , then they told him they have a problem with thier machine , the service only two cars and closed the window in front of us without any explanation. No apology for the long wait with no service nothing. The staff were so very rude. I am dissppointed
