crappy treatment of customers
the store in the queen st mall in Brisbane,is dreadful, the toilets are locked for almost 8hrs at night, the tables always have rubbish on them, even if the rubbish is removed, the tables do not get wiped down, the orders take so long that the food is usually cold, the management,(not the ones that still look like they are in school,) are rude to customers,.i had breakfast there the other day ,i had finished the meal, but was still enjoying my coffee, when one of the managers came up and demanded i buy more or leave.i spend a lot of time and money in that store, waiting for public transport to start up again after working thru the night.a customer is a customer, they should not demand you buy more or leave, they should stop treating their customers like rubbish, head office needs to look at this store at night.
Discusting toilets
McDonald’s Renmark in SA has discusting toilets… Clearly haven’t been cleaned in a long time. We have just driven from Vic over the nullabour to WA and back and clearly they were the worst we visited!! Makes you worry about the overall cleanliness of the whole store especially in the food prep area!!
Disgusting attitude of the staff including Manager who didn’t want to provide us with his name. My Brother lives in saltwater and have experienced the same several times, and his friends too. Would like if the management could look into this.
I used this place second time and to find staff at this place is extremely rude and not helpful at all. On my first visit I ordered quite few items since my kids were in the car, waited for so long and after me about seven customers were served and I can see my food was just kept inside the counter, when I asked is my order is ready staff at the counter very rudely said you must have been called you did not answer in fact I was just standing there and no one has called my order no, then staff asked me what is your order I gave my receipt and staff refused to see my receipt and asked me to tell my order which I did find very rude, I told the staff to check the receipt and give my order which is the norm at McDonald’s, I was told you should know your order and left food on top of the counter not confirming the order or apologising for delay, I took my food very upset went to the car and drove away, when open the food there were three items missing I was very upset by that time and my wife called the store and asked for the manager to explain what happened, manager did not even try to take the control of the situation and straight away blame us for what happened. I asked is it our fault as well there are things missing from the order what I paid and manager replied you have to ask nicely if you want your missing items, this was very very bad. I just cut the call and did not go back.
This morning after week later I went there order trough drive trough and was asked to pull up in waiting bay when I moved the car around the bend in first bay there was somebody already waiting and next bay was free I parked the car there, one staff came out with stuff and asked me my order I said that’s not my order, she got very angry and told me not to jump the queue you should be behind other car, if I will stay behind other car no one behind me will be able to get out from drive through.
I have been traveling around the world all my life never seen rude staff like this place it’s very bad for the company like McDonald’s having staff like this.
I live in uk use McDonald’s on daily basis around the country and other countries never experience rude place like this.
The Manager should know to respect his customers and the staff , Sophi & Jacob.
Bug spray overkill and long service delay
Went to McDonald’s in Somerville on th Mornington Peninsula in Victoria today. I wanted to get my daughter a treat on our little fun shopping trip together to end the day off. I go through the drive through and order a drink and happy meal for my daughter. I made the order and then start driving towards the payment window, but I stop the car as I see a young lady spraying an insect right next to the payment window so I wait for her to finish. She just keeps spraying baygon or something like it over and over. I am not kidding, she sprays this insect about 10 times or so. I stick my head out the window and ask her if she is finished as I don’t particularly want to pull my car up next to an area filled with poison right by my window with my 9 year old daughter in the passenger seat. This young staff member thinks it’s all so funny. Not only has she delayed us but she has no awareness of customer service at all. When she finally stops spraying I go up to the window and ask the young man who also thinks it’s the funniest thing he has ever seen what the girls name is. He can’t quite seem to remember what her name is, he gives me 2 different names, obviously he does know her name but he doesn’t want her to get her in trouble. Now there is another delay, they don’t have the right change available to give to me. After another minute or so it finally comes and I ask the lady who brings it who identifies herself as one of the managers about the girls name. I tell her I think it’s a bad idea to spray so much poison bug spray next to a customer service window. She says she’ll tell the staff member. Terrible experience instead of a nice way of finish our outing it is unpleasant and a bad experience. Make me regret taking my daughter through that drive through and for now on I won’t be spending money there. Very disappointing.
