We purchased our Samsung refrigerator (RFG29PHDRS/XAA) about 4 yrs ago and we have had nothing but problems with it from the very beginning. This refrigerator has never made ice properly, it is constantly freezing up , and almost every tray is broken. To say that we are disappointed in this product would be a huge understatement. We have tried on many occasions to get some sort of help from Samsung, but they have done absolutely nothing to help us with our problems. Consequently, we have resorted to going online to try and figure it out ourselves, only to discover that it seems to be a well documented problem with many, many consumers who have purchased this product. Buyers beware!! Fool me once Samsung, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. We will never again purchase a Samsung appliance and we will be more than happy to share our experience with anyone who asks.
Terrible customer service. Design fault with refrigerator for which Samsung will not admit.
I had a similar experience. Most disappointed at Samsung. I too found the well documented fault, a cheap coolant clip. We replaced it ourselves and I’m going to seek compensation through the legal system. I note there is a class action from 2015 on their refrigerators still pending.
