Hi, I have a Toshiba smart TV model no: 39L4300VM. I have problem with my YouTube TV for quite sometime because I unable to use YouTube app or YouTube TV device as well.
PROBLEMS:
1. It loading for some time but no video coming out and pop up ‘There was a problem with your network [410]
2. Then I try to download YouTube app from play store but when I select the video I want to play it pop up ‘There was a probkem while playing (Playback ID: Xxxxxxxxxx) Click any key to retry’
3. I even go back to Harvey Norman Sunway Pyramid which the place I bought the TV ask for help. Salesman told me I need to update to the latest software but I already check in the setting it was the updated software which I don’t have any new software to update.
I had been call to your customer care 1300-88-7899, your service centre guy told me my smart TV model is the 1st batch which having Andriod software problem, so what I can do is send my TV to Glenmarie service centre and leave my TV there (2-3 days) to do software update but it’s not FOC because they need to change some chargeable parts on my TV motherboard to avoid other problems (not under warranty).
The point is your 1st batch of Andriod TV having the software problem not I spoil it BUT I NEED TO PAY FOR IT. Do you think is that a reasonable answer for me to accept? PLEASE ASSIST.

I’m so patient to wait your sub-contractor MELAKA reply me when will fix up my smart TV panel. However, these was so disappointed that I did not get any feedback from TOSHIBA.
I want to know is this after sales services TOSHIBA provide to their customer?? Do need I call TOSHIBA and ask my TV status every moment, just like begging you? Or nobody will care about this??
I am understand you need time to process but almost a month I never get any answer from TOSHIBA.
Now I want to know do TOSHIBA willing to repair my TV?

your customer service was very impolite. this male personnel was very rude when I was asking him questions which he can just answer properly without being offended.
I bought a Toshiba rice cooker RC18NMF from the Kuching MJC branch and within a year the clamp button broke. I returned to the shop and paid for a replacement. 3 months, I waited. Went to the shop 3 times. Kept on saying it is Toshiba. Don’t know who is not doing their part. Extremely poor service!!

I Bought Toshiba 9KG Auto Washing Machine AW-B1000GM, for the first 8 months no issue, it started to show error message E9-5 and E9-2 sometimes for the next 5 months, but last 3 months, the problem was like every week, sometimes every day. Reported to Toshiba, 3 times, Technician comes and replace the parts, but still has issue. Now Toshiba says it could be my house electrical wiring problem…c’mon, pls do your due diligence and check your QC before shipping.
I bought a Toshiba smart TV just less than 2 years and is already spoilt. Contacted their service team and they did come to take back and check it. After few days they told me unable to repair and will replace new set for me. But was told that my model is already discontinued and will replace me a new set that I have to pay RM200 to get the set. Why should I pay the RM200 which I didn’t ask for better or bigger set. All I want is the same model will do. Is already 3 weeks and still no feedback from Toshiba u till I contacted them and told me if u insist on the same model than have to wait till end Sept. What kind of service is that… Seem like forcing you to take a new set and pay additional. Is not only pay the RM200… I still need to change the bracket and ask ppl to fix it all also a cost.

Poor Service of Technical Dept / Sub Con
Everybody is suffering during MCO, due to refrigerator shutdown and auto ice maker malfunction, its generating hassles to user while we are told be stay at home ! As far as my concern, although you may not be able to attend the issue, but it’s your responsibility to at least answer calls or whatsapp then advise what’s probably happen and what to do next ! Be quiet ignoring the calls doesn’t help to improve Toshiba’s reputation !
Very BAD service from Toshiba
I bought a Toshiba washing machine earlier this year 2020 and lodged a service report since June but the problem still not resolved yet in November. The answer I got is no spare part available. Also when I called Toshiba Service Centre, no one is picking up the phone at all. Later I had to get the personal contact number of the person in charge. Worst service I had. Think twice before buying any Toshiba products !!!!
